Handle Placing Machine

This material handling machine is designed and built to accurately load handles onto cans prior to a soldering operation. The handles are loaded into an elevating hopper which feeds a vibratory bowl feeder. The bowl feeder orients the handles and feeds them onto a feed conveyor. Seven handles are staged and accurately placed at one time onto seven cans via a pick and place gantry. The cans are automatically shuttled in and out of the machine in 7-can groups. The machine was designed to accept three different can heights.

Lamination Stacking Machine
150 to 220 parts per minute

Four station rotary index material handling machine accepts conveyed press stampings onto a stack. Machine automatically indexes when the stack is full without stopping the press. 12" high stacks are automatically unloaded onto a flat chain takeaway conveyor with a custom designed pick & place transfer. Quick changeover of stack tooling is achieved with our quick release clamp down design. The machine accepts multiple configurations of laminates and can be easily configured for future part styles.

Lamination Stacking Machine

Machine has two stacking units, each with an 8-position indexer. The active station catches parts off a stamping press and stacks them 24" high. The 8-position indexer indexes every fifth part to keep stack of square parts stable. Once the station is full, the material handling machine will shuttle without interrupting the press to place the second station in the stacking position. The full station is automatically leveled for unloading via an overhead crane. Operator is able to unload the stacks without stopping the press. The machine accepts multiple configurations of laminates and can be easily configured for future part styles.

Cartridge Filling Machine

Bench-Top msterial handling machine eliminates air pockets by filling from the bottom of the cartridge to the top. Media outlet is positioned at the bottom of the cartridge and moves upward as the media fills the cartridge. The multiple-station machine allows an operator to place empty cartridges in the machine, start the cycle, and walk away. The machine automatically stops when all cartridges are full. In continuous mode of operation, the operator can unload and reload cartridges continuously.

Machine trims felt to consistent lengths at high rate of speed and also features an easy adjustable length setting.
