Pallet Conveyor

A pallet conveyor (or palletized transport system) is used for assembly systems that move parts through sequential processes. The Weiss LS pallet conveyor is barrel cam driven with very smooth movements and precise locking in position. The modular workpiece carriers on the palletized have access from above, below, and the side. It runs at the speed and precision of a rotary index table with the flexibility of a transfer system. On the Weiss LS palletized conveyor, no additional motors or sensors are required to lock the workpiece carriers.

With few moving parts, the buildup of contaminants, common with conventional belt and chain type conveyors is eliminated with the Weiss LS palletized conveyor. The LS pallet conveyor is available with single and double locking stations. Workpiece carriers on the LS palletized conveyor are chemically, nickel-plated steel.

With the LS palletized conveyor, up to 45 cycles per minute can be achieved. Popular applications for the LS palletized conveyor are the assembly of electric shavers, single use cameras, and safety belt sensors. Pad printing and packaging can also be done on the Weiss LS pallet conveyor.
