CONTRACT
BRAZING & SOLDERING
Let Fusion Braze your Parts!
Do you have
a brazing operation you would like to outsource? Or, are you being
asked to braze parts, but have zero experience? Consider having
Fusion braze or solder the parts for you.
The first step
under Fusion's Contract Brazing/Soldering Program is to join sample
parts on a lab basis. These sample parts are then submitted to you
with a per piece cost based on production runs per week or month.
Typically, parts are run in lots of 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000
plus. Generally, the higher the production run, the lower the cost
per part.
In addition
to the per piece cost, there is a separate, "setup charge"
for fixturing and preparing a lab machine for the initial brazing
run. The setup costs can be included in the per piece charge as
long as future, specific production runs can be guaranteed.

An inherent
advantage of contract brazing with Fusion is if your production
levels increase to the point where automatic equipment can be justified.
We can then use the data gathered during the contract brazing period
and apply it toward a new machine quote. Typically, the existing
tooling can be mounted on the machine, the process is time-proven,
and you can be brazing in-house!
